Position Summary:

Cypher Analytics is currently recruiting on a contingent basis for a self-directed and motivated individual to join our team as a Network Engineer to support the design of networks and also focus on end-to-end testing of router, switch, firewall, and encryptor configurations. Primary work location is in San Diego, CA with additional ability to perform some aspects of the position remotely. This position requires an active secret clearance with the DoD.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Development of network topologies and templates from system requirements
  • Development of network templates and IP plans
  • Development of test plans and documentation

Basic Qualification Requirements:

  • BS degree in STEM field
  • Secret clearance required (TS/SCI strongly preferred)
  • CCNA (or equivalent) certification (CCNP or equivalent preferred)
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting engineering of DoD systems
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience engineering networks for the DoD
  • Experience with SDN Technologies and vendors, including SD-WAN, NSX-T, Cisco, Juniper, and open-source solutions

Position Summary:

We are in search of a motivated individual to join our team as a Management Analyst I/II in support of the Navy. This position is ideal for you if you are looking to gain more experience in program support, can be organized and have an eye for details, and are interested in process improvements to efficiently support the Navy’s mission.

Primary work location is San Diego, CA. This position requires a DoD Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Clearance with the DOD is required at time of hire.
  • Management Analyst I requires 3 years of practical experience in supporting DoD; Management Analyst II requires 7 years of practical experience in supporting DoD.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business or Technical Field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project… etc.
  • Prefer a candidate with a certification in ITIL Foundations V4, Scrum Master Certified, or SAFe Agile certified.

Position Summary:

Join Cypher Analytics, a dynamic team at the forefront of supporting U.S. Navy programs, as a mid-level Financial Specialist in beautiful San Diego, CA. You will provide planning, programming, budgeting, and execution (PPBE) support to a U.S. Navy program office. Ideal candidates will be team players, proactive, detail orientated, and motivated self-starters.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Active DOD Secret Security Clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree in financial management, accounting, statistics, or business management.
  • Must have 3-5 years of experience in providing financial analysis support to the US Navy or DoD.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint.
  • Must be familiar with Navy financial accounting software applications, including N-ERP GFEBS, CCaR, DTS, and ATAAPs .
  • Ability to use MS Excel to do VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and complex formulas.
  • Display a professional demeanor and strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage one or more programs independently without government BFM oversight.

Position Summary:

Cypher Analytics is currently seeking a senior level Design Engineer with specialization in electrical or mechanical design to develop and compare alternative layouts or designs, which utilize equipment of various kinds and capabilities in diverse physical arrangements. This may involve consideration of structural, mechanical, and hydraulic features.

Examples of tasks for Design Engineers include, working on preliminary designs and specifications and evaluating the numerous and frequent change in design and performance which affect the assigned equipment prior to and during production. Other tasks include, reviewing new approaches to circuitry and power distribution or incorporation of automatic self-test methods in equipment design.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Active DOD Secret Security Clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline or Industrial Design.
  • Must have 10 years of professional experience in mechanical, structural or electrical/electronic design, preferably with the DoD or Navy.
  • Knowledge and experience in preparing Functional Interface Drawings (FIDs), TDPs, IRDs, SIDs, and Verification & Validation (V&V) documentation.
  • Knowledge and experience in AutoCAD, Computer Aided Engineering, and modeling and simulation-based analyses.
  • Be able to provide engineering analysis to include structural analysis, power and cooling system analysis, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system analysis, weight and stability, piping flow, pressure analysis.
  • Have experience in conducting ship checks and site surveys to determine a platform’s current structural, electrical, and system equipment arrangement.
  • Have experience in supporting installation to determine solutions in accordance with drawings being implemented. This includes coordination with stakeholders and determining alternative material sources.
  • Must be willing and able to travel CONUS/OCONUS for ship checks as required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint.
