SeaPort-e

SeaPort-e is the Navy’s electronic platform for efficiently procuring over a half billion dollars of Professional Support Services each year. It is available to the Navy Systems Commands (NAVSEA, NAVAIR, NAVSUP, SPAWAR, NAVFAC), the Office of Naval Research, the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), and the US Marine Corps to competitively solicit offers to the diverse pool of SeaPort-e prime contract holders and their approved team members. This allows for a streamlined, innovative acquisition process that enables the Government to obtain services tailored to the needs of geographically dispersed organizations with significantly diverse product area requirements and missions.

 

Cypher Analytics holds a SeaPort-e prime contract and provides services including In-Service Engineering, Fleet Introduction, Installation and Checkout Support, Program Support, Training Support, and Information System (IS) Development, Information Assurance (IA), and Information Technology (IT) Support. In addition to our capabilities, our SeaPort-e team members cover a comprehensive spectrum of Functional Areas.

Cypher Analytics Quality Assurance Program

At Cypher Analytics, Inc. we employ a quality management approach based on the Project Management Institute’s Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). Our Quality Assurance Program is designed to ensure that our team provides the highest level of service to our clients. We evaluate overall task performance on a monthly basis, and track the progress of key project deliverables, costs, and task status through formal reporting in Monthly Status Reports (MSR).  These reports are reviewed internally by our program managers to provide confidence to our team and to our clients that the tasks not only satisfy, but exceed demanding quality standards. We mitigate risk on an ongoing basis by identifying potential problems at each program milestone and review, and institute active programs of total quality control and assurance for each contract deliverable and service. This allows us to detect both problems and opportunities in their infancy, prohibiting cost growth and encouraging cost, schedule, and performance optimization.
