Position Summary:

We are seeking a Platform Infrastructure Coordinator (Engineering Technician) to support the design and implementation of Navy networks. The role will focus on developing network topologies and templates based on system requirements, creating IP address plans, and preparing detailed test plans and documentation.

This position requires shipboard and/or installation experience, including understanding of shipboard network and power infrastructure, cable tables, interconnect diagrams, and installation processes such as equipment mounting and cable pulling. Candidates must be able to read and understand installation and design drawings and have a foundational knowledge of network infrastructure in Navy environments.

This role is ideal for a former Navy IT Tech (E-6 or above) or a Navy Engineering Tech with network experience who has supported shipboard installations or operated Navy network systems. 30-40 % travel will be required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Active Security Clearance is Required, TS/SCI Preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience supporting the engineering of DoD Afloat Network systems (CANES, ADNS, ISNS, CENTRIXS, SCI Networks, SUBLAN, and/or COMPOSE).
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited university in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physical Science preferred.
  • Network+, Security+ preferred
  • Shipboard experience required, including understanding of shipboard cable tables, physical layouts, and the flow of network infrastructure aboard Navy vessels.
  • Experience with hardware infrastructure installation (e.g., equipment mounting, cable pulling).
  • Ability to read and interpret installation and design drawings.

Additional Required Position Specific Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience developing technical documentation.
  • Proven track record of performance in client facing roles that require engagement and relationship building with stakeholders across Navy programs, the DoD, or other federal agencies.
  • Experience with SDN/ SD-WAN Technologies and vendors including VMware, NSX-T, Cisco, Juniper, and open-source solutions.
  • Experience with network configuration for L2/L3 switches, routers, security appliances (firewalls, NIDS, NIPS, etc).
  • Experience developing and documenting network topologies.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and restoring network and system outages.
  • Experience in virtualization technologies.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Management / Agile Specialist to support a high-impact U.S. Navy IT initiative. This role is critical in bridging strategic vision with tactical execution, ensuring seamless delivery across complex, multi-layered workstreams.

As a key contributor, you will:

  • Apply proven PM and Agile methodologies to guide project planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Translate strategic program goals into actionable, measurable project plans.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and coach teams to adopt best practices for iterative delivery.
  • Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement across technical and operational domains.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to manage risks, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with mission objectives.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 5+ years of experience supporting U.S. Navy IT programs
  • Extensive experience managing Navy IT programs within Agile environments.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong background in risk management, Agile coaching, and performance optimization.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-visibility settings with competing priorities.
  • Strong experience in project planning, coordination, and execution
  • Ability to work independently and lead initiatives with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with technical project management concepts and client solution development

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with IT performance management and IT governance frameworks
  • Understanding of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) processes
  • Experience with vendor and contract management, including SLAs
  • Certifications preferred (one or more): PMP (Project Management Professional), SAFe Program Consultant, SAFe Scrum Master, or SAFe Agile Practitioner

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans that align with overarching program objectives.
  • Author user stories, acceptance criteria, test strategies, and other Agile artifacts to support iterative delivery.
  • Champion Agile adoption across teams and stakeholders, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Proactively identify, evaluate, and mitigate program risks, issues, and interdependencies.
  • Drive performance improvement initiatives in accordance with established IT governance frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure cohesive project execution and alignment.
  • Lead or contribute to the development of program baselines, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Mentor junior team members and serve as a subject matter expert in project management best practices.
