Position Summary:
Naval Information Warfare Center, Pacific (NIWC Pacific) is looking for a self-directed and motivated individual to join our team as a Scrum Master in support of the MQ-25A Stingray DoD program. Primary work location is at Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific in San Diego, CA with additional ability to perform some aspects of the position remotely. This position requires a DoD Secret clearance.
In this role, you will provide network engineering support to Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) Code 551 to fulfill PMA-268 Unmanned Carrier Aviation (UCA) requirements, focusing on planning and executing the development sprints of the Agile Scrum team that is responsible for developing the Advanced Networking Tactical System (ANTS) and Ashore Routing Communications System (ARCS) network configurations. As the ANTS/ARCS Network Scrum Master, you will work with the Network Lead/Product Owner to manage the team that designs and develops the routing solution for on-aircraft in-flight networking and data transport equipment. This includes management of all aspects of sprint planning, execution, daily scrum, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives, as well as conducting configuration control board reviews and overseeing network architecture decisions. The aircraft is the Navy’s new unmanned drone, the MQ-25A Stingray, with a primary mission of aerial refueling and a secondary capability to provide Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) all while being launched and recovered from an aircraft carrier.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance with the DoD.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Network Engineering experience in a DoD, Navy, and/or NAVWAR program or related field.
  • Professional-level certifications must meet CSWF IAT Level II at a minimum and must have CCNA or CCNP.
  • Experience in Agile Software Engineering Process and Life Cycle, including performing the Scrum Master role in an Agile Scrum team.

Position Summary:
As a network engineer on our team, you’ll help the Navy build a reliable network to support Naval operations. In this position you will provide engineering and integration support to Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) Code 551 to fulfill PMA-268 Unmanned Carrier Aviation (UCA) requirements, focusing on maintenance, troubleshooting, and user support for the router, switch, firewall, and encryptor configurations hosted in the Advanced Networking Tactical System (ANTS) wideband network transport chassis onboard the MQ-25A aircraft. As an ANTS Network Support Engineer, you will build security and maintenance patches, develop manual and automated solutions to perform regression testing of security and maintenance patches, and provide remote and onsite end-user support for the ANTS network configurations.
