Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with an active secret clearance to join our diverse team. This person will be responsible for the planning, design, integration, and installation of – wired and wireless – complex IP networks for US Navy programs. The Network Engineer should be competent in routing, switching, VPNs, and Firewalls and should have a strong understanding of common protocols. The Network Engineer shall also provide architectural and engineering expertise, including network design, analysis of alternatives, end-of-life planning, technical documentation, and testing.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Active Secret Clearance Required
  • Minimum of 5 years of Network Engineering experience in a DOD, Navy, Army, Marines, National Guard, and/or NAVWAR program or related field.
  • Professional-level certifications must meet CSWF IAT Level II (Security + preferred) and Computer Environment requirements (CCNA/CCNP).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.

Essential Functions:

  • Performs design, engineering, implementation, maintenance, and upgrade of the local area networks (LAN)s and/or wide area network (WAN), and/or security infrastructure.
  • Provide production team with solutions and technical assistance for the network solutions.
  • Provide engineering team with analysis of alternatives, concept of operations, and technical assistance on features for network architecture.
  • Assist with site design and document development.
  • Analyze, integrate, program, document, and troubleshoot various network components/systems.
  • Provide end-to-end configuration and testing to include installation templates and guidelines.
  • Create Network interconnection and topology diagrams using PowerPoint, Visio, or similar applications
  • Install and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and other network devices.
  • Implement specific network solutions to support server requirements to include load-balancing, VPN’s, firewall contexts, and NAT where appropriate.
  • Support DoD encryption devices such as the KG-175.

Position Summary:

We are recruiting for a Project Management Specialist to support the ISSM within a key Navy program office. The perfect candidate will have experience in assisting the management of cost, schedule, performance, and risk for tracking and managing Authorities to Operate (ATO) for Navy Information Systems.

Position is located in San Diego, CA.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Clearance with the DOD is required at time of hire.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
  • Requires a minimum of 3 years of program management experience, preferably with the Navy.
  • Experience with Navy and DoD processes.
  • Candidate will need to be well-versed in management of cost/schedule/performance for a large acquisition program (ACAT I/II) in a very dynamic, high visibility environment.
  • Strong organization skills to lead and run Integrated Product Team (IPT) and Working Group meetings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
  • Must be able to able to communicate effectively and professionally verbally and via writing.
  • Advanced writing skills is required to including spelling, grammar, and punctuation for professional level reporting.
  • Prefer candidates with knowledge and understanding of Department of Navy (DoN) Risk Management Framework and Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) and Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification or DAWIA equivalent certification.

Responsibilities:

  • Formulate budgets and program plans.
  • Develop acquisition documentation.
  • Monitor task execution and identify and mitigate risks.
  • Collect, complete, organize, and interpret program data or documentation with programmatic rigor to ensure division processes and procedures align with overall program office processes.
  • Assist with tracking program cost, schedule, and performance.
  • Support assessment of current programs, including management initiatives, program integration, cost-benefit analysis, and metric development.
  • Gather information, analyze data, and prepare responses to data calls and information requests.
  • Assist in preparing program-level meetings, briefings, or conference and meeting summaries for wide distribution.
  • Ensure alignment of program messages and clear communication to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in solving problems related to program management support.
