Position Summary:

The Senior Software Developer will be responsible for providing software engineering support to Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific). The requirements focusing on developing features for the Advanced Networking Tactical System (ANTS) Operational Support System (OSS) network management software. As an ANTS OSS Software Developer, you will build solutions to perform autonomous troubleshooting for on-aircraft in-flight networking and data transport equipment. This includes scripts and/or programs that will ensure the networking hardware is functioning properly and to rectify any failures discovered.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in DoD engineering support.
  • Strong development and programming experience in any one of the following languages: C, C++, Java.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with at least one scripting language, preferably Python.
  • Experience in writing clear, high-quality, maintainable and extendable code with best practices of automated tests.
  • At least 5 years of continuous programming experience.
  • Experience in Agile Software Engineering Process and Life Cycle.
  • Experience performing software development in a DevOps environment utilizing tools such as Git, Jenkins, JIRA, Artifactory, Confluence, and Bitbucket.

Essential Functions:

  • Networking experience, including router, switch, firewall, or inline encryptor development.
  • Experience with software development in networking or network management.
  • Experience configuring, updating, and maintaining Linux Operating Systems, such as installing drivers, networking information, disk partitioning, system backups and creating baseline images.
  • Experience with RHEL/Linux build automation, Jenkins, automated tests, preferably for unattended use cases/environments.
  • Experience configuring RHEL PXE boot Kickstart servers and creating custom Kickstart scripts for both Legacy and UEFI BIOS systems.
  • Experience in Object Oriented software analysis and design, e.g. UML.

Position Summary:

Cypher Analytics is currently seeking an Integrated Logistics Support Specialist responsible for providing on-site ILS Subject Matter Expert (SME) and logistics management support for meetings, program reviews, working groups, and data calls to a U.S. Navy program office.   • Be able to provide recommendations for, and prepare, ILS documentation including User’s Logistics Support Summary (ULSS), Life Cycle Support Plan (LCSP), Demand Forecasting with supporting documentation, Baseline Assessment Memorandum (BAM), obsolescence management, and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material shortages (DMSMS).
  • Coordinate Return Material Authorization (RMA) with vendors for equipment requiring replacement and coordinate supply support, packaging, and shipping of equipment.
  • Prepare and have extensive experience and be knowledgeable with Configuration Overhaul Planning records (COP) on Configuration Data Manager Database-Open Architecture (CDMD-OA).
  • Conduct inventory audits of Remedy records and CDMD-OA records to ensure all data is accurate and matches across the different ONE-Net toolsets.
  • Monitor the Operating Materials and Supplies (OM&S), Sponsor Owned Material (SOM), and Government Owned Material (GOM), and provide data monthly to the Government ILS Team for reports to BLII project managers, PMW-205, and PEO-EIS.
  • Input and process work orders into CMPro to track inventory that is issued, transferred, used for material maintenance and equipment repair orders, and identified as material disposal.
  • Provide support to BLII sparing determination and fulfillment activities, software license management, and hardware warranty management.
  • Provide integrated logistic support (ILS) packages for installations and coordinate decommissioned, reuse, and defense reutilization materials (DRMO) post installations.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
